Industrial Internships

In an effort to provide our graduate students with the opportunity to become acquainted with the industrial research environment, the PRL has implemented an industrial internship program. Internships of from three to nine months generally take place after students have completed their preliminary exams. The specific arrangements of each internship, including the identification of a suitable company/institution and local advisor, are made by the student in consultation with the major professor. During the internship, student stipends are provided by the PRL. Internships in non-industrial, non-university settings will also be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Personnel Affairs Committee and the Director.
